New Forest Show - Day Two (Part 3)

Here are some more photos from the day...

Wherever Jason goes, the bikes goes to...

That buttefly gets everywhere even into show jumping events!

New Forest Show - Day Two (Part 2)

After a long day selling their wares, Jason and Will had an evening of drama as they hunted for a much needed meal late on Tuesday evening. Chaos descended on them when they decided to visit a local Chinese restaurant which initially appeared to be run by two teenagers that night.

With customers’ drinks orders being misplaced and food orders being delivered twice (three lots of prawn crackers to one table), complaints to the mother who had now appeared were being made by nearly everyone. Having waited a long time for the starter and even longer for the main, Jason and Will cut their losses paid for their starters and then left to find somewhere else for their main. Film critic Mark Kermode who had come in to order a takeaway was still left waiting as the guys left – thank goodness he wasn’t a restaurant critic!

They next tried a restaurant at a 4* hotel they came across. As they walked in however they came across some more customers arguing with staff in reception – it appears no-one was happy that night! The guys sat down, ordered and greatly anticipated their meal arriving. 25 minutes later no food had arrived, and the waitress came over to ask whether everything was alright not realising that they had already placed an order. Again they had to wait patiently for the kitchen to quickly sort this out for them.

Walking back to the showground, more drama was to occur when they came across the locked gates back into the grounds and they desperately looked for someone to let them through to the camping site. Who said life on the road was easy huh!

New Forest Show - Day Two (Part 1)

This group of gentlemen caught the attention of Jason at the show; the man in the middle in particular for his unique length on his trousers and jacket sleeves. As with most style its all about how the person carries off the outfit that matters and this gentleman is certainly smiling!!

New Forest Show 2011 - Day One

Whilst Rosie and Shaun are slaving away in the shop, Will and Jason have gone off on a bit of a jolly to the New Forest Show for three days. Located in Brockenhurst, this agricultural show boasts a number of exhibitors, demonstrations and competitions attracting huge crowds. This year we are very fortunate to be based in the Members' Enclosure selling a wide variety of menswear. ladieswear and accessories from Regent Tailoring and from our other selected brands including John Smedley and People Tree.

Over the next couple of days we're going to be adding some photos from the show, keeping you updated on what is going on and showing you some of the fab people we have the pleasure of meeting whilst there.

If you are lucky enough to be heading to the show this week, please go and say hi to them both (and check they are working as hard as we are!). They also can sell emergency umbrellas and wellies to those without if the heavens are expected to open as the weatherman is predicting!
